$130,390,661. That is Scottie Scheffler’s career official money on the PGA Tour, through October 25, 2026, according to the Tour’s career money list. No golfer has won more. He passed Tiger Woods’ $120,999,166 this season by winning the FedEx Cup.

The record came fast. Woods built his total over a career that began in 1996. Scheffler’s first PGA Tour win came in 2022, and he has earned at least $14 million in official money every season since. His net worth is harder to pin down than his winnings, and the best-known estimate disagrees with itself. Here is what is documented.

Five seasons, $123 million

Bar chart of Scottie Scheffler's PGA Tour official money by season: just over $14 million in 2022, $21 million in 2023, over $29 million in 2024, $27.7 million in 2025 and $30.9 million in 2026, the highest, shown in red.

According to Forbes’ profile of him, Scheffler set a PGA Tour record for official prize money in 2022 at just over $14 million, then beat it with $21 million in 2023 and more than $29 million in 2024. He earned $27.7 million in 2025. This season he has $30,937,525, the most on the Tour and more than Cameron Young ($15.1 million) and Matt Fitzpatrick ($14.7 million) combined, as our 2026 money list shows.

Added together, those five seasons come to roughly $123 million of his $130.4 million career total. Almost all of his PGA Tour money has been earned since 2022.

How he passed Tiger Woods

Two milestones came in the same season, according to Wikipedia’s account of his 2026 season:

  • January: His win at The American Express was his 20th PGA Tour title and earned $1,656,000, pushing him over $100 million in career earnings. He was the third player to reach that mark, after Woods and Rory McIlroy. The win also made him the third golfer, after Jack Nicklaus and Woods, with 20 Tour titles and four majors before turning 30.
  • FedEx Cup: He closed the Tour Championship with a 66 to win by three over Viktor Hovland, became the third multiple FedEx Cup winner after Woods and McIlroy, and collected the $10 million prize. That took his career official money, which excludes bonuses, to $130,390,661, past Woods.

He played the record down. “It’s apples and oranges,” he said, pointing to how much bigger purses are now than in Woods’ prime. He has a point: a modern season pays far more than Woods’ best years did, so the totals are not like-for-like. Scheffler has also been named PGA Tour Player of the Year four years running.

Beyond prize money

Official money is only part of his income. Forbes’ 2026 list of the world’s highest-paid golfers, dated June 17, 2026, put Scheffler at $79 million in total earnings. Forbes lists Nike, TaylorMade, Rolex and Veritex Bank among the brands he works with. The values of those deals have not been disclosed, and we do not estimate them.

For scale: Woods earned his money the other way round. Forbes says Woods has made nearly $2 billion pretax in his career, with prize money roughly 6% of it, as our Tiger Woods net worth breakdown explains. Scheffler, so far, is a golfer whose prize money is the main event.

What he is worth

There is no reliable public figure. Celebrity Net Worth’s page on him, last updated September 8, 2026, says $150 million in its text and shows $110 million in its summary box. We report both rather than pick one. Either is plausible against $130 million in career prize money plus several years of endorsement income, before taxes and expenses. Treat any single number as an estimate.

The bottom line

Scheffler has turned the PGA Tour’s money list into a one-man table: five straight seasons at or near record pay, a career total that passed Woods in under five years of winning, and a 2026 season worth more than the next two players’ combined. His net worth is unsettled, but on the measure golf keeps officially, nobody has earned more.
